CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. - The case against a local man charged with attempted murder begins today in Calloway County.

Kentucky State Police arrested Jamie Forrester back in February.

Troopers say Forrester fired several rounds into an outbuilding on Jones Road in Calloway County.

When troopers arrived at Forrester's home in Farmington, he barricaded himself inside.

He was eventually arrested.

His trial starts this morning at 9 a.m.
