MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - It's deer season, which means you need to keep an eye out while driving.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, crop harvest time and mating season both increase deer activity.  Crash reports indicate most car-deer collisions are just before sunrise or just after sunset.

Deer usually end up traveling on predictable trails, but they can end up in commercial and residential areas this time of year.
