GOLDEN POND, Ky. (AP) - Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area will waive fees at some day-use facilities on Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

General admission to the Elk and Bison Prairie will be free, and Wranglers Campground will waive day-use riding fees.
The U.S. Forest Service, which manages Land Between The Lakes, is participating in the program as are the National Park Service, the Fish and Wildlife Service and the Bureau of Land Management.
The Elk and Bison Prairie opened in 1996 on a 700-acre enclosure where bison and elk herds were introduced.
Wranglers Campground is the only place at LBL designed for horseback riders and wagons. It borders Lake Barkley and Fords Bay on the east and sits between Laura Furnace Creek and Lick Creek on the west.
