LBL waiving fees for back to school season

GOLDEN POND, Ky. - Land Between the Lakes is celebrating back to school season by waiving fees.

An August 14t and 15, LBL will waive fees at participating day-use facilities. That includes the Homeplace, Woodlands Nature Station, Elk and Bison Prairie and the Golden Pond Planetarium.

Wranglers campground will also be waiving day-use riding fees.

LBL officials said they hope this will give parents and kids a good way to celebrate the end of summer.
