HARRISBURG, Ill. - A man involved in a standoff with police on Thursday was arrested early Sunday.
Saline County deputies say they received a tip Saturday Brian Potts was inside a home on Highway 145 South, just outside Harrisburg.
Potts was wanted on a Saline County warrant for failure to appear on a speeding violation and for a parole violation. Police say the resident told them Potts was inside and armed with a gun.
A tactical team surrounded the residence and on Sunday arrested Potts. Police recovered a handgun and ammunition.
Potts is in the Saline County Jail.
