Man arrested on charge of stolen property, including firearms

LEDBETTER, Ky. — An anonymous tip to authorities helped put on man in jail in connection with a break-in at a Livingston County home earlier this month. 

The tip led investigators to a home on 3rd Street in Paducah where they found 24-year-old Matthew Eggleston where they found much of the $25,000 worth of stolen property, including firearms.  
 
Eggleston is charged with multiple counts of Receiving Stolen Firearms and Stolen Property.  He's also charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.
