Last season, the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats dominated the Massac County Patriots 48-7.  This season, Patriots players have a message for the Wildcats.

"New year, new team."

Our Marissa Hollowed talked with a couple of the Patriots players this morning live on Local 6 Today, and they say they are ready for some revenge against the Wildcats.

The Patriots had an incredible turnout this morning, including members of all of their fall sports teams, as well as the cheerleaders and the band!

Let's take a closer look at the Patriots' opponent tonight, the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats.  The Wildcats are currently ranked 11th in the class 3A poll.  They opened the 2012 season with wins over West Frankfort and Murphysboro.  As we mentioned, the Wildcats breezed past the Patriots last season 48-7.

The Patriots and their supporters vow this year will be different.  We will see when this game kicks off tonight at 7:00 p.m.
