McCracken County Fair comes to Carson Park this week

PADUCAH, Ky. - For the past 48 years, people from across the region have enjoyed rides, horse shows, harness racing, talent shows and beauty pageants -- all at the McCracken County Fair.

It's all happening again this week at Carson Park thanks to the Kiwanis Club of South Paducah.

The fun begins Monday night at 5:30, and it is a special wristband night. You can ride all the rides for $20 per person, and there will be harness racing at 7 p.m.

Tuesday night is a special Pepsi Night, with free admission to anyone who donates two cans of food. Wednesday kicks off with a beef show at 10 a.m., then you can catch the talent contest at 6 p.m., followed by a western horse show at 7 p.m. Thursday at 10 a.m. you can check out the youth lamb show, followed by the junior market goat show at 4 p.m. Weiner dog races kick off at 7 p.m. Thursday.
