McCracken County man arrested for allegedly stealing rent money

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - A McCracken County man has been arrested for allegedly keeping $4,000 of rent money that he was supposed to transfer to the owner of an apartment complex.

Deputies say 41-year-old Bobby Whitis was hired to oversee some apartments in the Lone Oak area. He was responsible for collecting rent from various tenants and forwarding the money to the owner. However, the owner says Whitis did not hand over the money.

Whitis is in the McCracken County Jail.

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department needs your help finding a wanted man.

They are looking for 41-year-old Bobby Whitis. Deputies say Whitis was hired to oversee some apartments in the Lone Oak area.
