Murray woman charged with assaulting officer, terroristic threatening

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. - A Murray woman faces several charges in Marshall County, including assaulting a police officer, after an incident over the weekend.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says deputies found 42-year-old Lori Blades around 7 p.m. Saturday. Blades was arrested on a charge of Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

Deputies say Blades began banging her head inside the police car, then kicked out a back window while on the way to the Marshall County Detention Center. The car stopped before Blades exited through the window, landing on pavement.

Blades was treated at Marshall County Hospital, then booked into jail. Charges against her include Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Escape 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree - Police Officer and Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree.
