Less than a year away from the last presidential election, many are already looking ahead to the next one.

A new Quinnipiac Poll shows a potentially tight race on the GOP side.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio led the poll with 19-percent.

17-percent would support Representative Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, last year's Republican Vice Presidential nominee.

They were followed by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, And New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Florida Governor Jeb Bush finished in fifth in the poll.

The poll also shows Republican voters would prefer a nominee with experience as a governor rather than a senator.
