Painting begins for mural honoring local boy scouts

PADUCAH - A mural honoring the hundredth year of our local boy scouts is closer to being complete.

Artist Herb Roe has finished sketching and is working on the painted portion of the mural.

The new mural features all the different boy scout uniforms from the past century.

The man at the center is Quenton s. Quin, who started the first local scouting troop.

Troop one in Paducah is still active at Grace Episcopal Church.

Roe hopes to complete the boy scout centennial mural by the end of the month.
