BENTON, Ky. — Crews are already hard at work repairing damage caused when a man drove his SUV through the front of a local restaurant.
Benton, Kentucky police arrested Randy Prather after his car sped through the intersection of West 5th Street Wednesday.
He faces a wanton endangerment charge.
Prather's Ford Explorer knocked down a utility pole and then drove straight into the Subway restaurant.
The crash sent three people, including Prather, to the hospital.
Video from Thursday shows temporary patch work on the Subway. The restaurant will be closed at least three to four weeks to repair the damage.
In the video, you can also see crews repairing the traffic signal at the intersection. The intersection is back up and running.
