Body of missing southeast Missouri child found in river
UPDATE (Monday, 11:57 a.m.): The Butler County Sheriff's Department says the body of 5-year-old Devonte Dye was found in the St. Francis River around 10 a.m. Monday.
The boy went missing around 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.

BUTLER COUNTY, Mo. - The Butler County Sheriff's Department is searching for missing 5-year-old Devonte Dye.
According to sheriff's deputies, Dye is a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans near a home in Qulin, Missouri, which is in the southeast portion of Butler County.
The chief of police with the Butler County, Missouri sheriff's department says Dye is autistic and can't verbally communicate, which is making the search more complicated. Anyone with information is asked to call the Butler County Sheriff's Department.
