FRANKFORT, Ky. - Portions of West Kentucky Wildlife Management Area in McCracken County are temporarily closed due to storm damage.

Affected areas include the transmission line corridor located in Tract 1A, and the section of transmission line in Tract 7A located south of KY 358.

These aeas wil remain off-limits to the public while crews repair the transmission towers damaged by Sunday's widespread storms. Visitors to the wildlife management area also should stay at least 100 yards away from the affected lines until repairs are completed.
