Possible gun shots force WKCTC main campus lockdown

PADUCAH, Ky. - West Kentucky Community and Technical College is back open after the school was on lockdown.

Public Relations manager Janet Blythe says the school was on a lockdown around 2:20 Friday afternoon because multiple people heard what they thought were gun shots.

Paducah Police searched the area and didn't find anyone with a gun.

The school gave the all clear 25 minutes after the initial lockdown.
