Post office reopening after spider infestation

BUFFALO, Ky. (AP) - A central Kentucky post office will reopen this weekend after closing in July to deal with a spider infestation.

The News-Enterprise reports the Buffalo post office will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Post office manager Rosemary Miller said the landlord of the building has worked with exterminators to get rid of the brown recluse spiders found in the building in July. The infestation led to an emergency closure.
She says she feels "confident" that the matter has been resolved and the building will continue to be monitored after it opens.
Regular hours at the facility are 7:15 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7:30-10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
