FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division will hold a wreath-laying ceremony at Fort Campbell on the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. At Fort Knox, a retired soldier who helped in the rescue at the Pentagon that day will speak.

The Fort Campbell ceremony will be held at McAuliffe Hall on Tuesday at the Army installation on the Tennessee-Kentucky state line.

After the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, soldiers from Fort Campbell were among the first to deploy to Afghanistan.

Fort Knox's event will include a keynote address from retired Sgt. Maj. Tony Rose, who was working at the Pentagon during the attack and earned the Soldiers Medal for his rescue efforts.

The event will be at 8 a.m. in Waybur Theater.
