Power restored to Obion County Residents

OBION COUNTY, Tenn.— Gibson Electric Membership Corporation had an outage in Troy this morning.  The outage affected about 1,100 members’ homes and businesses in and around the communities of Crystal, Clayton and Walnut Log, along the Troy-Hickman Highway and Lake Road. 

The outage began at 8:5am and at 9:1am service was restored to all but 345 members.  Service was restored to the remaining members at 9:42am.  An equipment malfunction caused the outage.
