Robert Goins funeral set for Sunday

MOUND CITY, Ill. - Funeral arrangements for the boater whose body was found in the Mississippi River yesterday are in place.

A visitation and funeral for 43-year-old Robert Goins will take place Sunday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., followed by the funeral at 2 p.m.

Goins was reported missing last Sunday after his boat was found empty near Mound City. His body was then found yesterday in the Mississippi River in Hickman County, Kentucky.
