CINCINNATI (AP) - Mitt Romney has ignored reporters' questions about an Indiana Republican Senate candidate who said that if a woman becomes pregnant from rape, it is "something God intended."

Romney endorsed Richard Mourdock prior to the controversy.  Campaigning in Ohio, Romney said voters are concerned about how the election impacts their families.

Meanwhile, President Barack Obama is wrapping up a 40-hour campaign swing. He stopped in Chicago to cast an early ballot.

It was the first time a sitting presidential nominee voted early and reflects the Obama campaign's strategy to encourage as many voters as possible to vote early or by absentee ballot.
