School board names 3 assistant principals for new McCracken County High School
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - McCracken County Public Schools named three of the five assistant principals for the new high school that will open this fall.
Lone Oak High School Principal Matthew Houser, Heath High School Principal Jon Reid and Reidland High School Principal Victor Zimmerman will serve as assistant principals at McCracken County High School.
Matthew Houser has been the principal at Lone Oak for the past year and was an assistant principal there prior to being promoted. He began his career as a teacher at Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary School in 2006.
Prior to his time at Heath High School, Jon Reid worked at Lone Oak High School as an assistant principal and instructional coach. He then moved to Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary School, where he served as an assistant principal. Reid has been with the district since 2008.
Victor Zimmerman has worked in McCracken County Public Schools since 2003 and has been in administrator throughout his tenure.
All three say they are excited to begin working at the new school and look forward to continuing their careers in McCracken County. Michael Ceglinski, the principal of McCracken County High School, also looks forward to bringing the trio aboard.
“These three men have a strong knowledge of what we wish to accomplish at McCracken County High School," Ceglinski said. "Each bring a set of skills that will help us achieve the ambitious goals we have for our students.”
