Slick roads cause issues for area school buses

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - Slick roads are causing difficulty for area drivers, especially school buses.

A school bus in Grahamville in west McCracken County got stuck earlier this morning. It slid and grazed a telephone pole at the intersection of Hwy 724 and Hwy 358.

A second bus came to pick up the kids, and a WPSD crew said the kids appeared to all be okay, but we do not have that confirmed.

This is just one of several school bus crashes that we've heard about across our region as bus drivers brought kids to school or worked to get them back home after early dismissals.

Other reported school bus incidents include two in Graves County, one in Calloway, and another in McCraken. None of the accidents report any injuries.
