Southeast Missouri man accused of breaking into vehicles, stealing items
CHARLESTON, Mo. - A southeast Missouri man faces charges after police say he broke into several vehicles and stole items.
The Charleston Department of Public Safety says it began investigating a report of suspicious activity on August 4. Officers later found 23-year-old Kody Riley in possession of several electronic items and a purse believed to be stolen.
Riley was arrested and charged with six counts of Stealing and Tampering with a Vehicle. His bond from a similar pending charge was also revoked. He is in the Mississippi County Jail on $50,000 bond.
