Southern Illinois man pleads guilty to drug crime
BENTON, Ill. – A southern Illinois man admitted to drug crimes Friday.
35-year-old Jason Scott Byrley pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
Investigators say the crime occurred between 2008 and 2012 in Williamson, Jackson, Saline and Franklin Counties in Illinois.
If convicted, Byrley faces ten years to life in prison, a fine up to $10 million and at least five years of supervised release.
Sentencing is August 8th.
