METROPOLIS, Ill. - Family and friends often want to do something special to honor a loved one who has died.

Wednesday was no different for former Metropolis, Illinois alderman J.D. Holley.

The 86-year-old died Sunday.

Holley loved motorcycles.

Earlier Wednesday, Darren Youngblood with "Last Ride Hearse" offered his services to transport Holley's casket to the cemetery.

He used a custom-made motorcyle hearse made for transporting loved ones to their final resting place.

Those close to Holley say he rode motorcycles for nearly seven decades.
