MAYFEILD, Ky. - The need is great.  The cause is important.

One community needs your help to stuff the bus.

Students, teachers, parents and volunteers are working together in Mayfield, Kentucky to collect school supplies for families in need this year.

Event organizers say they're seeing more families asking for help.

That's why the bus is set up at what many people call "the busiest place in town."

"Everybody comes to WalMart so it gives us an avenue to reach people we might not ordinarily reach. It helps people to give. Most people want to give so by having students and teacher sand volunteers here it allows people to give more," Star Youth Service Center Coordinator LeeAnna Heflin said.

Through Sunday, people can stop by the bus at the WalMart in Mayfield.

Students, staff, and faculty will be attending the bus, collecting donations.

All supplies collected will go to students-in-need in the school district.
