Suspicious packages lead to arrest of Clarkson woman

PADUCAH - A tip from a U.S. Postal inspector led to an arrest Tuesday of a Clarkson, Ky. woman.

Paducah Police arrested 44-year-old Terry L. Stone on charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, 2nd degree traffickinig of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphanlia.

The arrest came after a U.S. Postal inspector informed police that Stone had been receiving a number of suspicious packages from Arizona at the John Puryear Dr. campground where she'd been staying.

Detectives say the most recent package contained 40 Percocet pills.

After serving a warrant where Stone was staying, police found 50 Percocet pills, marijuana, and a loaded revolver.

Stone had former felony convictions against her in Arizona.
