PADUCAH — A two-year-long investigation aimed at keeping you and your family safe from drug dealers ended Thursday with 14 arrests.
Investigators said the results were a huge win for the people of west Kentucky.
They said dangerous criminals are now in jail and facing a number of federal drug charges.
Thursday morning's arrests brings the total to 33 since the multi-agency investigation launched back in 2009.
Law enforcement seized 45 pounds of marijuana, 113 ounces of crack cocaine, 188 grams of powder cocaine, as well as 20 firearms and 311 rounds of ammunition.
The arrestees are Timothy McNeal, 27, Gregory Thomas, 38, Martigo Matchem, 23, Michael Brown, 33, Jonathan Drew, 23, Donnie Ford, 29, Curtis Hamilton, 54, James Hardin, 33, Quinton Shumpert, 32, Pimpfunta Story, 37, Michael Taylor, 40, Terion Mitchell, 19, and Lorenzo Roston, 44.
Mitchell and Roston also face drug charges at the state level.
