HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. - A tip reported by someone in Tennessee ended a marijuana grower's pot crop.

It happened in Henry County.  After the Tennessee Highway Patrol received the tip, they took to the skies in a helicopter.  While there, they found the crop growing off Barnett Road.  That's in the western part of Henry County.

THP tells Local 6 they found about 15 plants, some of which were up to six feet tall.

When they questioned the property owner, he didn't even know the plants were there.

Troopers say they're still investigating and charges are forthcoming.

In fact, THP plans to fly around Henry County and the surrounding counties in the coming weeks to look for marijuana crops.
