Teammate bails Zay Jackson out of jail

MURRAY, Ky. - Zay Jackson bonded out of jail yesterday with the help of Murray State basketball teammate Latreze Mushatt.

Jackson was in jail on two counts of 2nd degree assault after an incident in a Walmart parking lot Sunday.

Jackson's bond was originally set at $20,000 before a judge reduced the bond to $15,000.

Mushatt paid the $1,500, or 10 percent of the bond, necessary to bail Jackson out of jail.
