Three charged with theft at River City Mission in McCracken County, Kentucky

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - Two people were in the process of moving out of their River City Mission apartments when neighbors allegedly targeted and stole from them.  Now three suspects face charges.

McCracken County, Kentucky Sheriff's Deputies charged 54-year-old Robert Maxie and his wife, 27-year-old Britney Maxie, with theft by unlawful taking over $500 and tampering with physical evidence.  A third person, 35-year-old Tracy Hardy, faces theft by unlawful taking under $500 and tampering with physical evidence.

Deputies say the three took $1,200 worth of jewelry, clothing, DVDs and other items from the victims.

According to a news release, all of the stolen property was found and returned to the victims.
