Traffic Alert: KY 3061 re-opened in Hickman County

After a two-day delay, KY 3061 in Hickman County east of the Nichols community has reopened following extended closures to replace several cross drains.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is continuing to ask for information on the vehicle that disregarded several Road Closed signs and moved a barricade to drive through freshly poured concrete Wednesday.

The roadway had to be jack-hammered and new concrete poured due to the damage.

If caught, the driver could face fines of up to $150 per sign or barricade and be held responsible for the cost of replacing the concrete.  Anyone with information on the vehicle is asked contact the Kentucky State Police or the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office.
