Truck reported stolen in 2009 found in local river

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — A truck first reported stolen in June of 2009 was discovered Saturday in Clarks River. 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department arrived to Clarks River Boat Ramp after a members of a dive team found the vehicle around 11:30a.m. 
Several divers from around the country were attending a week long Underwater Criminal Investigations class sponsored by Mermet Springs. 
The class was conducting practical exercises in the Clarks River on their last day of training. While diving around the boat ramp  under Clarks River Road one of the divers located a truck resting on the bottom of the river bed.
The truck is a 1995 Ford F150 and was reported stolen in June of 2009. The vehicle's registered owner, , Dalvin Todd of Paducah, reported the truck was taken from him near the entrance to Indian Oaks Mobile Home Park on Clarks River Road, which is near Clarks River.
The investigation is ongoing.
