PURCHASE REGION - What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than winning a contest? Congratulations to Betty Holt, the winner of the Galatea Diamond in a Pearl Necklace from David Spicer Jewelers.

Betty's story from her entry is heart-touching, and sure to bring a tear to the eye.

 

"Jerry and I were childhood sweethearts. We married on Valentine's Day in 1959. Six years ago our lives changed when a vehicle hit my husband while he was riding his motorcycle. Our retirement dreams have taken a different route, but we take each day as it comes. We are closer than ever before and are looking forward to celebrating 53 years of this great marriage in a couple of weeks."
