CRITTENDEN COUNTY, Ky. - Along the same stretch of the Ohio River where a crowd gathered to pray for three-year-old Carter Nall, rescuers combed the water searching for the little boy.

Kentucky State Police say Nall was last seen on a sand bar on the banks of the river (Kentucky Side) between
Caseyville and Dekoven. Family had temporarily docked their boat there to stay awhile. Nall, who was wearing a life jacket, removed the life jacket while playing on the sand bank. He was last seen near the boat on the river’s edge.

Monday night, more than 100 people came to river side park in Crittenden County to light candles, sing, and pray. Kim Orr was asked to help organized it.

"There's a lot of things we can't do," she said. "We don't have boats, and we can't get out on foot, and don't have the dogs or the horses or four-wheerlers, but as a community the one thing we can do is we can come together, support the family and let them know that we are a caring community."

The Emergency Manager in Union County, KY said the search will continue Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.

Kentucky State Police say anyone has any information regarding Carter Nall, can contact KSP Post 16 at (270) 826-3312 or (270) 685-3927.
