PADUCAH - It was a veritable wild kingdom Friday morning, as animal expert--and host of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom--Peter Gros stopped by the Local 6 studio with a few feathered and scaled friends.
Mr. Gros is in town for Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom traveling show at The Carson Center tonight, and came in to discuss the show, his conservation work, and to give Local 6's Marissa Hollowed the chance to get to know some of his animal friends. For the entire interview, watch the video.
An active conservationist, Gros is intimately involved in a nationwide conservation education program conducted at the local community level. In his travels throughout the world, Gros and his animal friends help teach about the importance of caring for the world around us.
Tonight's show at The Carson Center starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $18 for adults, $10 for students and children under 18. For more information on the event, click here, and for more on Wild Kingdom, click here.
