PADUCAH - It's never too late to learn something new, even if you have to catch up with billions of others.

A class at West Kentucky Community and Technical College is teaching adults how to be Facebook friendly.

The social media course is designed to teach older adults how to create a Facebook page, customize it, add photos, tag pictures, "like" things, communicate with friends and family and more.

The class was made up of 12 ladies, most of them grandmothers who wanted to learn a little bit more about using Facebook and protecting their identities.

Most of the ladies told Local 6 their grandchildren helped them to set up the pages.

The class is 2 hours long and costs $10.
