Beth Bradley joined WPSD Local 6 in October of 2007. She co-anchors Local 6's Today show each morning from five to seven with
Mike Mallory.
Beth is asked two questions every day.
What was your childhood like? And do you ever get used to your work hours?
She is always asked about her childhood because she grew up in
Las Vegas. And yes it was completely normal. In fact she loves
Nevada so much she headed up North for college.
Beth graduated with a BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University Nevada Reno in 2004 .
Beth quickly jumped into her first job as a reporter for the PBS show Capital Issues. She commuted each day to
Carson City to cover the legislature.
Beth then headed out to west
Texas. She joined KMID-ABC 2 in
Midland Texas. Originally hired as a reporter Beth moved into the morning anchor position three months later.
And now to answer the second question. It's a BIG no! Even after more than two years of anchoring a morning show Beth doesn't think she'll ever get used to the hours. So it's a good thing she loves what she does. There is no other job is the world Beth would rather have.
In her spare time Beth catches up on sleep. Then when she's awake she enjoys chatting with her family and friends and spending time with her yorkie Jack and her fat tabby cat Toby.
