More charges sought against Missouri truck driver, son

MEXICO, Mo. (AP) - Eastern Missouri prosecutors plan to seek
murder charges against a truck driver and his son after authorities
determined a man found in a tractor-trailer had been killed.
The Audrain County Sheriff's Department also announced Wednesday that three other people have been charged with kidnapping in the case.
The request for tougher charges will be made during a Jan. 13
court appearance for 38-year-old Chester Harvey Jr. of Laddonia and
19-year-old son Chad Michael Harvey of Eolia.
They are charged with one count each of abandonment of a corpse
after the body of 20-year-old James William Boyd McNeely was found
in the refrigerated compartment of a trailer Chester Harvey had
been hauling.
Court records indicate Chester Harvey told a tipster he killed a
man he had picked up in California.
