Escaped sex offender arrested at casino

ROGERS, Ark. (AP) - A man wanted in Arkansas on child sex
charges has been arrested in Oklahoma after escaping from custody
in Missouri.
The Benton County sheriff's says U.S. marshals arrested Richard
Lawrence Rogers Wednesday night as he left a casino in Tulsa.
Rogers is considered a Level 4 sex offender - the highest level
in Arkansas. He's wanted in Benton County for sexual indecency with
a child and failure to comply with registration and reporting
requirements.
He was arrested Feb. 26 in McDonald County, Mo., - but escaped
after being taken to a hospital.
The Arkansas Sex Offender Registry calls Level 4 sex offenders
those who exhibit sexually violent predator behavior.
