Clay Waller charged with first degree murder in wife's disappearanceEditor's note: updated with new video CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — The husband of missing Missouri mom Jacque Waller has been formally charged with her murder. She was last seen leaving her husband Clay Waller's home on June 1, 2011, in Jackson, Missouri. She has never been found. Clay Waller was named a person of interest in Jacque's disappearance for several months but was never charged in connection with the case. In the probable cause statement, investigators found blood evidence in Waller's home, including bloodstained carpet prosecutor's allege Waller hid under his home. Waller is serving a five-year prison sentence in Louisiana for threatening Jacque Waller's sister in an online posting last year. Scott Reynolds, Waller's attorney, told us he has not spoken to his client about the murder charge but planned to review the paperwork before deciding how Waller would like to proceed. Most Popular |
