Fight in Missouri town ends with gunfire

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - A fight ends in gunfire in one Missouri city.

It happened in Cape Girardeau, Saturday.

Just before 2 a.m., police responded to a shots fired call at the Rhodes Convenience Store on North Sprigg Street.  Shop employees told police that a group of people started fighting in the parking lot.  Shortley thereafter, gunshots rang out and people started running.

No one was hurt, but police report one of the stray bullets hit a nearby Emerald Street home.  Someone was inside, but the bullet missed the individual.

At this point, no one has been arrested.  Police are still investigating the incident.
