CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Officials at Southeast Missouri State University say power should be restored to the school's central campus by 1 p.m. Wednesday following a morning outage.

The university says the outage was caused by "an issue with a transformer" that caused power to be lost at several buildings.

Summer classes in those buildings will be back in session Wednesday afternoon.
