SIKESTON, Mo. - Police in Sikeston, Missouri, are looking for the alleged gunman involved in a November 30th shooting at the Eagles Club that left two people wounded.

The Sikeston DPS received a call on that Saturday that said shots were fired during a party inside the Eagles Club located on 219 Trotter Street in Sikeston. Officers were already near the area and one overheard what sounded like gunshots. Several party goers were fleeing from the area when the first officer arrived. Upon entering the building, the officers found a group of people near a stage around a subject who had a gunshot wound to his lower back.

It was reported that there was a disturbance just prior to the shooting outside of the club. Police were informed of a second victim that had been transported to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand shortly afterwards.

Detectives have gathered enough evidence to obtain a warrant for 26 year-old Derrick Reed, also known as "DD", of Charleston, Missouri. He has been charged for his involvement in the shooting. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who comes into contact with him should use extreme caution and contact the Sikeston Police Department. Information that leads to the arrest of Reed will be given a reward of up to $1,000 in cash.
