PADUCAH - Local doctors are reporting fewer strep throat and flu cases this week.

Dr. Daisy Benigno in Hickman, Kentucky reports influenza cases.

Dr. William Conyer at Baptist Prime Care in Paducah reports influenza and strep throat cases.

Nurse Practitioner Lance Williamson at Paducah's Redicare reports a stomach virus causing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea that lasts as long as a week. Strep throat and influenza cases have also been reported, but not as many cases as a few weeks ago.

Nurse Practitioner Melissa Elkinds at Marshall County Family Medical is seeing colds, sinusitis, bronchitis, and a stomach virus.

Dr. John Hale in Union City, Tennessee reports a lot of strep throat, upper respiratory infections, bronchitis, a stomach virus lasting about two days, and an occasional influenza case.
