Darth Vader suspected in bank robbery
Sith Lord robs Ohio bank
TOLEDO, Ohio - The force is strong with this one. A bank robber in Ohio knew he needed to hide his face, but he chose an iconic image for the masquerade.
On May 23, a man armed with a handgun entered the Monroe St. branch of Huntington Bank in Toledo, Ohio, and demanded money from tellers.
Perhaps the most distinguishing feature--besides the gun he brandished--was the Darth Vader mask he used to conceal his identity. The man is described as between 5'10" and 6 feet, and weighing around 170 pounds.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on a dark colored BMX Bike. There were no injuries reported, and no reports of whether or not the money will go to funding construction of the new Death Star.
