Jet from Oklahoma crashes in Indiana neighborhood

Small plane crash

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A coroner in Indiana is saying people were killed when a plane crashed in a northern Indiana neighborhood.
Deputy St. Joseph County Coroner Michael O'Connell says, "Fatalities have been confirmed at the scene." He would not say how many people are dead.
Authorities say the private jet was experiencing mechanical trouble when it crashed today. It hit three homes, becoming lodged in one of them.
The plane is registered to 7700 Enterprises of Montana LLC in Helena, Mont. The company does business as DigiCut Systems in Tulsa, Okla., and makes window film and paint overlay for automobiles. The company is owned by Wes Caves.
