County clerk: Absentee voting impressive so far
GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. - For the past month, County Clerk Barry Kennemore said a steady stream of voters and absentee ballots have poured into his office.
He credited the high turnout to the close races.
"In my mind, the two that are drawing the most attention are the U.S. Senate and the city of Mayfield's mayor race."
"You can see them just staring at one spot on the paper and that is probably where they are still trying to make up their mind."
"That's how close it is."
