SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. - The Great Smoky Mountains National Park will reopen for a few days.

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam announced an agreement to use state money to reopen the park Wednesday morning.

It will stay open at least until Sunday.

The state is paying 80 percent of the cost in the form of a tourism grant to Sevier County, Tennessee.

Haslam says he has worked with North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory to financially assist with the reopening.
